Jemma has made a great card add on kit this month...and wait until you see what she did with it!!
Making cards with the leftover bits from your kit is such a great idea! It really helps keep the scraps at bay and gets so much more milage out of your kit. I think I may try to sneak some of Jemma's yellow scraps...love them!
Hmmmm...triangles anyone? I bet she has a plan for these!
I really love the Chevron trend! This is an amazing way to use up those leftover bits!
Head on over to Jemma's Blog for some step by step instructions! Love it, Jemma!
We went Somewhere Over the Rainbow with this challenge! Some of my favorite (and most horded paper) is my rainbow stripe paper. It just makes me happy to look at it. I'm so happy to share our Master Forgers take on this challenge:
My daughter does not have an American Girl Doll yet. Daddy is cheap thinks they are expensive, so she and I are still waiting for her to get one. She does however have 6 dolls of that size...several from Germany that we found at a flea market. I would LOVE to make this project for her so she can have a doll tea party! You have to check out this post...it is brilliant!
This week we will begin to tackle our photos! I won a Library of Memories Class several years ago and loved how she got me thinking about organizing this part of my world. I discovered through this process that I am MUCH better at having my photos stored on the computer than printed out. I never know what I am going to want to do to a photo before I use it (resize, black and white, crop, alter), so I prefere to print as I go.
We have an external hardrive with our photos backed up on it. I have folders sorted by year and then by month. If we do something extra special during a certain month (big trip, birthday) then I make a subfolder for that in the month so it is easy to find.
The weather in Indiana is strangely beautiful now. We had such a mild winter and not much snow at all (much to the disappointment of two kids with new sleds this year). Now the temperatures are jumping back and forth from the 30's to the 70's. Craziness! All of this mild weather has made me sick, so I have spent alot of time at home instead of browsing around town. I will be glad when the warm weather is here to stay and I can feel like going out!
All of my down time has lead to some online browsing, so here we go with some of my favorites!
I don't generally do much with digital, but I love this paper from Mooandpuppy:
If you love chipboard, you will drool over what I found at Leaky Shed Studio
I found these Lawn Fawn Stamps at 2 Peas that I would love to give a good home to...
And check out the Snapshots Stack from DCWV at the end of this video! This will be finding it's way to my house thanks to my scrappy friend, Pam! I can't wait!
So fess up about what scrapbooking goodness that you have been eyeing lately!
