Deadline for the call is May 30th

Length of Term: July - December

Responsibilities:

**Create a kit based on our inspiration kit each month

**Participate in our kit reveal blog hop

**Help find or create tutorials for kit pieces and projects

**Create one challenge project per month

**Comment on assigned Mr. Linky posts from followers

**Participate in a special DT project every few months

**Promote Counterfeit Kit Challenge on your blog and other sites

Application Projects:
1.  Create a Counterfeit Kit based on your favorite online kit
**Including handmade pieces with tutorials is not required, but is a nice bonus for us to see how you do with it.

2.  Create a challenge make a project for that challenge

How to Apply:

Create your kit, challenge and project

Post it to your blog with descriptions/explanations 

E-mail us at counterfeitkitchallenge@yahoo.com with your blog post link

include in the e-mail:

name

where you live

how long you have been scrapbooking

why you would be a good fit for us

a promise to commit for the 6 month term if chosen.

I will e-mail everyone whether or not they make it by the middle of June at the latest.

Sketchy Challenge by Milissa

I love sketches. I know I've said that about a gagillion times but I really do. I'm really excited to get to do the sketch inspiration for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog this month. The sketch I have chosen for this month comes from Liz Qualman's Little Yellow Bicycle February Sketch:

What immediately caught my eye was that adorable little polaroid frame. Isn't that fun? Here is my interpretation using my April Counterfeit Kit, Something A Little Daring:

Inspiration from around the web

My inbox is filled every day with newsletters and updates from scrapbook sites, galleries, online class sites and bloggers I love. Most of these get deleted immediately because let's face it, who has the time to  read all that stuff these days?

But a recent TwoPeasInABucket newsletter caught my eye informing me that triangles are right on trend at the moment. Really? I mean, I've seen a few here and there but surely, they are not going to take over chevrons.. or are they?

Paper or Plastic? Challenge #3

I have been reorganizing my stash (My sweet DH redid my room...new floor and furniture) and stumbled upon some paper bags in various sizes.  Hmmmm....why do I have these again?

So because I need some inspiration...

Challenge #3:  Paper Bag Challenge:  Use a paper bag (whole or part) somewhere on your project.

Nothin' but Stickers Challenge

Through the years I have had a VAST sticker collection.  When I first started scrappin', there were not many embellishments available, so I relied on stickers.  Mounds of stickers of every theme imaginable.  My tastes changed through the years as more things became available and I moved on from stickers.

It's time to revisit the issue.  I still don't love the flatness of them.  And the cheesiness of some of them.  However, we are much smarter scrappers now and can do SO much more to make the stickers a fun part of our project.

So...

Challenge #2:  Sticker Challenge:  Use NOTHING but stickers as embellishments on your project.  HA!

How To Get Published

One day, when I find more time, I would love to have some of my crafting projects published.  Not for any sort of recognition, but just as a personal goal.

Challenge one-All about a picture

Welcome back. I hope you are ready for the first challenge this month. I don't know about you but where I live Spring has yet to arrive so I needed some color and brightness in my life. This month for the first challenge we picked this photo, let it inspire you, lead you, or whatever works for you. Make a project that is INSPIRED in some way from this photo. Make sure to post a link in Mr. Linky with CHALLENGE ONE. We can't wait to see what you do!

This challenge is going to be for our end of the month participant BLOG HOP on the 24th!
